Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Location: Walsall, WS2 7PT

Pay Rates:

Day shift hours: £13.87 per hour (overtime up to £20.81 per hour)

Weekly pay

Shift Pattern:

Rotation shift pattern. Flexibility is required, as you must to work across morning and afternoon shift

Days: Morning: 06:00 – 15:00 & Afternoon: 15:00- 00:00

About the Role:

You will be working on behalf of Major Recruitment for our client based in Walsall This is a great opportunity to join a well-known high street home and fashion retailer.

The warehouse is clean, modern, and well-organised, with a strong focus on teamwork and reliability. This role is ideal for candidates looking for full-time work with opportunities to develop and progress.

You will be handling a variety of products including clothing, homeware, and furniture, preparing them for distribution across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Tagging, labelling, and ticketing clothing
  • Processing stock for goods in and goods out
  • Picking and packing orders accurately
  • Moving stock within the warehouse
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment
  • Handling materials safely and efficiently

Please note: this role involves manual handling, including heavy lifting and a lot of walking.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous warehouse, picking, or packing experience is preferred but not essential
  • Ability to carry out manual handling tasks throughout the shift
  • Good attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
