Overview of the Job:

To assist with the daily operations of our warehouse in Sidcup, we are seeking a warehouse operator with expertise and a strong work ethic. The ideal applicant will collaborate with processing teams and guarantee the efficient and effective management of inventory and order production. High levels of accuracy and attention to detail, outstanding organisational abilities, and a dedication to upholding a secure and effective work environment are necessary for this position.

Principal Duties:

  • Verify incoming materials and commodities, note any inconsistencies, and work with the office administrator to resolve any problems.
  • Prepare orders, which calls for knowledge of single order and intricate piece choosing.
  • Perform fundamental production tasks, like basic device provisioning and assembly.
  • Give the warehouse manager and quality control team regular information on any problems or supply shortages, as well as stock control checks.
  • Keep the equipment, storage, and warehouse neat and organised while adhering to safety rules and guaranteeing security.
  • Oversee courier reservations for Ireland and the UK.
  • Maintain high standards of quality for audits and conduct routine stock inventories.
  • Control the locations and area of the warehouse.
  • Carry out production tasks like sorting, labelling, taping, packaging, and physical lifting.
  • Carry out additional relevant tasks as directed by the store manager.
  • Verified three years of experience working in a production role in a warehouse.
  • Outstanding precision and attention to detail.
  • The capacity to adjust to a time-sensitive, high-pressure setting.
  • Trustworthy and diligent.
  • IT literate, capable of learning new systems, including Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with scanners is beneficial.
  • Outstanding writing and vocal communication abilities.
  • A great team member with a can-do attitude and self-motivation.
  • Since this is a full-time, on-site position, the candidate must be based in Sidcup or the neighbouring region.
