Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative with technology experience to join our client based in Birmingham. Our client is a well-established supplier specialising in technology supplies, providing a wide range of products to customers across the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join a busy distribution operation. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring technology products are accurately picked, packed and prepared for delivery while maintaining a safe and organised warehouse environment.



Your Role

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:

  • Picking and packing technology products accurately and efficiently.
  • Using handheld scanners, warehouse management systems and other technology to process orders.
  • Checking incoming and outgoing stock for accuracy and quality.
  • Preparing orders for dispatch and ensuring products are correctly labelled.
  • Moving stock around the warehouse using appropriate equipment.
  • Updating stock records and inventory systems.
  • Assisting with stock checks and inventory management.
  • Handling technology products carefully to prevent damage.
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised warehouse environment.
  • Working as part of a team to ensure customer orders are completed on time.
  • Following all company health and safety procedures.
  • Carrying out general warehouse duties as required.


Requirements

  • Previous warehouse experience is essential.
  • Previous experience within a technology, electronics or distribution environment would be advantageous.
  • Experience using handheld scanners, stock management systems or other warehouse technology is desirable.
  • Good level of physical fitness, as the role involves manual handling.
  • Comfortable using technology and learning new warehouse systems.
  • Ability to work in a busy warehouse environment.
  • Good attention to detail when picking and checking orders.
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Positive approach to work and willingness to learn.
  • Experience handling technology or electronic products would be advantageous.


Pay & Shifts

  • £12.71 per hour
  • Monday - Friday
  • Day shifts - 07:30 - 16:30
  • 30 Minute unpaid break
