We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and hands-on Warehouse Production Supervisor to lead our aluminum production department.

The ideal candidate is someone who leads by example, pays close attention to detail, communicates effectively, and takes ownership of their team's performance and the quality of the products leaving our facility.

This is an active, hands-on leadership position, not a desk-based management role.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Warehouse Operations & Leadership

  • Conduct daily morning team huddles to review production priorities, deadlines, and assignments.
  • Lead Monday morning team meetings.
  • Assign daily tasks based on employee abilities, production needs, and order deadlines.
  • Assist employees with workstation setup and production when needed.
  • Monitor workflow throughout the day to ensure production remains on schedule.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe working environment.

Employee Training & Supervision

  • Train new employees on proper procedures, equipment operation, safety, and quality standards.
  • Work alongside new employees during training to ensure they understand their responsibilities.
  • Regularly check on team members, especially new employees, to monitor progress and answer questions.
  • Provide clear instructions, constructive feedback, and ongoing support.
  • Hold employees accountable for attendance, productivity, quality, and workplace expectations.
  • Encourage teamwork, communication, and a respectful work environment.

Production & Quality Control

  • Oversee aluminum fence panel assembly, material cutting, routing, packing, and order preparation.
  • Verify measurements, product specifications, and material requirements before production begins.
  • Ensure the correct panel heights, post sizes, routing patterns, and compatible materials are used for each order.
  • Inspect initial production runs to catch mistakes before additional materials are processed.
  • Check completed orders for accuracy, damage, and overall quality before shipping or customer pickup.
  • Ensure orders are completed accurately, on time, and in the correct dispatch sequence.
  • Identify production errors quickly and communicate concerns to management.
  • Minimize material waste, rework, and preventable production mistakes.

Equipment & Warehouse Maintenance

  • Oversee routine maintenance of production equipment and warehouse machinery.
  • Ensure cutting and routing equipment is properly cleaned, lubricated, and maintained.
  • Complete required weekly equipment maintenance checklists.
  • Ensure forklift batteries are charged and routine maintenance checks are completed.
  • Report equipment problems, safety hazards, or maintenance concerns promptly.

Inventory & Order Fulfillment

  • Assist with inventory organization, material counts, and stock accuracy.
  • Verify materials are properly labeled, stored, and protected from damage.
  • Coordinate order preparation, packing, and loading.
  • Work with other departments to maintain efficient production and order fulfillment.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Previous warehouse, manufacturing, fabrication, or production experience.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and follow production orders, measurements, and specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple orders and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to work hands-on alongside employees.
  • Ability to train employees, address performance concerns, and maintain accountability.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to work in a physically active warehouse environment and safely handle materials.

Preferred:

  • Experience operating cutting equipment, routers, and forklifts.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and production tracking systems.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Portuguese communication skills are a plus.

What We're Looking For

  • Leads by example rather than simply giving instructions.
  • Takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.
  • Notices problems and takes action before they become bigger issues.
  • Is comfortable teaching, coaching, and working alongside employees.
  • Can balance productivity with safety and quality.
  • Communicates openly with management and team members.
  • Understands that being a supervisor means taking responsibility for the team's results.
