Job Length: Permanent

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, rotating shift pattern. 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm (Mon–Fri) or 10pm to 6am (Sun–Thu). Flexibility to work around these hours to suit business needs.

Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi-beverage supplier in the UK and is home to iconic beers & soft drinks, including Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti and Brooklyn, as well as Hobgoblin and Wainwright. For soft drinks, brands include J2O, Robinsons, Tango and London Essence, with the licence rights to the Pepsi portfolio in the UK including Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Iced Tea and Rockstar Energy.

With a strong national footprint, Carlsberg Britvic operates 5 production facilities and 16 logistics depots servicing customers across the UK. As these two historic businesses come together, the common goal remains ensuring our people succeed.

About the role

If you are interested in joining our journey, we are now recruiting for a Warehouse Shift Manager. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this role will play a key part in our success journey, and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following:

Role Responsibilities

  • Providing skills required to deliver to our customers on time and in full
  • Providing a high quality service to suit customers’ needs
  • Working closely with the transport and office teams to ensure a smooth running of operations and meeting overall site objectives
  • Supervising a team of operatives on the late shift
  • Holding health and safety at the forefront of all warehouse procedures to maintain a safe working environment at all times
  • Check for picking accuracy and breakages with investigations where necessary

Experience and Key Attributes

  • IT Literate with experience using MS Office and SAP
  • Experience managing or supervising a warehouse team
  • Experience working in a warehouse for an FMCG
  • FLT licence (desirable) and experience (essential)
  • Customer Service
