Location: East London
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000
Working Pattern: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
5 days out of 7 including regular evenings and weekends
Overtime taken as TOIL
My client is a creative London events business delivering weddings, corporate events, filming and private hire across a unique portfolio of venues.
They are now seeking a Wedding & Events Coordinator to join the team and support the planning and delivery of a diverse range of events.
This is a hands-on, client-facing role combining sales, event planning and operational coordination. You will manage clients from initial enquiry and venue viewing through to contracts, supplier coordination and event-day delivery.
The role would suit someone with previous events experience, particularly weddings, who is commercially minded, highly organised and confident managing multiple moving parts in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage clients across weddings, corporate events, filming and private hire
- Conduct venue viewings and client meetings
- Prepare booking forms, contracts and event documentation
- Coordinate suppliers, event crew and staffing requirements
- Manage supplier bookings and event logistics
- Maintain budgets, orders and event spreadsheets
- Manage venue diaries and operational schedules
- Coordinate security and suppliers on event days
- Support the planning and delivery of live events
- Work closely with the Events team to identify opportunities to increase revenue
- Collaborate with PR and Marketing teams to support venue awareness and exposure
- Provide excellent client service throughout the planning and delivery process
About You
- Previous experience within events, with wedding experience particularly desirable
- Strong sales and client relationship skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident using Excel, Word and Outlook
- Flexible and comfortable working evenings and weekends
- Proactive with the ability to use initiative
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Commercially aware with a genuine passion for events
Desirable
- Experience in event production or styling
- Knowledge of Photoshop, SketchUp or InDesign
