A warm and welcoming family of five are seeking a fun, energetic and creative Weekend Live-In Nanny to care for their three children. This is a shared-care position working closely alongside Mum within a fully staffed household.
The children lead an active lifestyle, with weekends centred around football, tennis, training, playdates and outdoor activities. The nanny should be confident caring for one child independently as well as managing several children during playdates and sleepovers.
Duties Include:
- Preparing breakfast and getting the children ready for their activities
- Coordinating with Mum regarding sports, matches, training and playdates
- Planning fun, age-appropriate activities and outings
- Actively engaging with the children and their friends
- Managing dinner and bedtime routines
- Occasional simple cooking when the chef is unavailable
- Keeping children's rooms, playroom and belongings tidy
- Working closely with Mum, House Manager, Chef, Housekeeper and weekday Nanny
- Providing sole charge when required, including when Mum is travelling
- Occasional school holiday travel with the family
The children are generally in bed by 9:00pm Friday and Saturday, with an earlier bedtime on Sunday. The nanny should be up by approximately 8:00am on Saturday and Sunday. There will be periods of downtime during the day when the children are occupied or resting, although the nanny must remain on the property. Some weekends may involve caring for only one child, and Sunday afternoons will often provide a longer break when the parents take the children out.
