SEO Content Writer (Business Brokerage / Local & Industry SEO)

Manan Business Sales is a Melbourne-based business brokerage helping owners sell their businesses, including cafes, restaurants, bakeries, takeaway shops, manufacturing businesses and function venues. We are growing our online presence on Google and AI-assisted search and need a content writer who can turn that strategy into helpful, trustworthy content.

Role Overview

You will write SEO content that helps business owners understand the selling process and connects them with MBS. This is not keyword stuffing. We want accurate, original and genuinely useful content that earns trust and generates confidential valuation enquiries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write local landing pages for councils and suburbs (e.g. Whittlesea, Hume, Brimbank, Melton, Merri-bek).
  • Create industry pages for cafes, restaurants, bakeries, fish and chip shops, manufacturing, party halls, skip bins and more.
  • Write helpful articles for owners, such as “How to Prepare Your Cafe for Sale in Melbourne”.
  • Write seller-intent content (“sell my cafe in Epping”, “business valuation Melbourne”) rather than buyer-focused content.
  • Follow SEO briefs: page titles, meta descriptions, H1/H2 structure, internal links and clear calls to action.
  • Research local business context from reliable sources and cite it properly.
  • Explain the valuation process and the documents owners need to prepare.
  • Write content that suits both Google and AI search (clear answers, FAQs, structured information).
  • Work with the SEO team to avoid duplicate or thin pages.
  • Update and improve existing content using Search Console and analytics data.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in SEO content writing (portfolio required).
  • Understanding of search intent, on-page SEO and keyword mapping.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Semrush, Google Search Console or Google Analytics.
  • Ability to research accurately and fact-check.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in business brokerage, finance, real estate or small-business content.
  • Knowledge of local SEO and schema/structured data basics.
  • Experience writing for AI search visibility.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Benefits:

  • Paid sick time
  • Work from home
