<strong>Stores Operative</strong><br><br>Our client, a well-established company based in Crawley, is looking for a reliable and organised Stores Operative to join their team on a permanent basis.<br><br>This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous warehouse experience who enjoys a hands-on role involving goods in, picking, packing and dispatch.<br><br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><br><ul><li>Picking and packing parts accurately for customer orders.<br><br></li><ul><li>Preparing and despatching packages.<br><br></li><li>Booking goods in and checking deliveries against relevant paperwork.<br><br></li><li>Identifying and reporting any discrepancies or damaged goods.<br><br></li><li>Maintaining accurate stock records and an organised stores area.<br><br></li><li>Operating a counterbalance forklift where required.<br><br></li><li>Occasionally delivering goods to local destinations using a company vehicle.<br><br></li><li>Supporting general warehouse and stores duties as needed.</li></ul></ul><br><strong>About You</strong><br><ul><li>Previous warehouse experience, including picking, packing and goods-in duties.<br><br></li><ul><li>Full, valid UK driving licence.<br><br></li><li>Reliable, organised and conscientious, with good attention to detail.<br><br></li><li>A proactive approach and the ability to see tasks through to completion.<br><br></li><li>Experience working with components or part numbers.<br><br></li><li>A valid counterbalance forklift licence.</li></ul></ul><br><strong>What's on Offer?</strong><br><ul><li>Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm <br><br></li><ul><li>Salary of £25,000–£28,000 DOE<br><br></li><li>Permanent position with an established and growing business.<br><br></li><li>Free onsite parking.</li></ul></ul><br>If you have previous warehouse or stores experience and are looking for your next opportunity, we would love to hear from you.
