Summary

NCD is seeking a Licensed Insurance Sales Agent to join our Member Care team. In this fully remote role, you'll speak directly with prospective members about our ancillary and supplemental insurance products, including dental, vision, accident, and disability coverage, guiding them from initial interest to enrollment. You'll work from a compliance-driven script with required disclosures, while still building the kind of rapport that makes a prospect want to say yes.

This role is built for someone who thrives on a phone, handles objections without getting rattled, and treats a "no" today as a "not yet" to follow up on tomorrow. If you know how to stay compliant without sounding like a robot, and you're motivated by hitting numbers day after day, this role was built for you.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sales Calls and Enrollment
  • Speak with prospective members about ancillary and supplemental insurance products (dental, vision, accident, disability, etc.), walking them through coverage options and enrolling them in the right plan.
  • Compliance and Script Adherence
  • Follow required disclosures and a compliance-driven script on every call, while keeping the conversation natural and conversational rather than scripted-sounding.
  • Objection Handling
  • Address prospects who hesitate, ask to "think about it," or request something in writing, keeping the conversation moving toward a decision without being pushy.
  • Pipeline and Follow-Up Management
  • Maintain a system for tracking prospects who don't buy on the first call and following up consistently until they convert or close out.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Must-Have Skills and Experience

  • Currently licensed to sell insurance, with active licensure in good standing meeting NCD's state minimum requirements (below).
  • Proven experience selling ancillary or supplemental insurance products (dental, vision, accident, disability, etc.), with a track record of hitting a sales quota or close rate consistently.
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM CST, consistently.
  • Reliable home internet and a quiet, private workspace suitable for taking calls.
  • Resilience and self-motivation to stay productive on high-volume, high-rejection days.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Experience in supplemental health, dental, vision, or insurance sales specifically.

State Licensure Requirements

  • Must have an active Life and Health license.
  • Priority will be given to those with licenses in the following states: California, Florida, Texas, New York, Georgia, New Jersey, North Carolina, Nevada, Massachusetts, Arizona, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Oregon, Missouri, Virginia, and Colorado.

What Success Looks Like in the First 90 to 180 Days

Within the first 90 days, you have learned about NCD's products, script, and compliance requirements, and you're comfortable handling common objections while staying on message. You're building your own rhythm for the day and starting to see your close rate stabilize.

Within 180 days, you are consistently hitting quota, managing a full pipeline of follow-ups without anything slipping through the cracks, and the team has confidence that you can carry a full book of prospects independently.

NCD Benefits

  • Company-paid health, dental, life, and disability insurance
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Opportunity for professional development
  • Work from home allowance and support
  • Positive work environment
  • Remote, office-based flexibility within the United States of America

Equal Opportunity

NCD is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are committed to building a team that reflects a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills. We believe our differences make us stronger and help us better serve our members, agents, partners, and each other.
