If you are collaborative, innovative, and passionate about making an impact while living Sedgwick's values of empathy, accountability, collaboration, growth, and inclusion, we want to hear from you.<br><br><strong>WORK LOCATION(S)<br><br></strong>Hybrid 1 day per week in office preferred<br><br>May be open to remote setting for select locations<br><br>Preferred candidate location in central, mountain, or pacific time zones<br><br><strong>PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: </strong> Oversees staffing activities within a designated region and partners with Operational management to implement timely, cost-effective initiatives aligned with regional and corporate objectives.<br><br><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS And RESPONSIBILITIES<br><br></strong><ul><li>Identifies and cultivates sources for hiring experienced and entry level personnel through:</li><ul><li>Networking and Colleague Referrals,</li><li>Development and utilization of Internet Mining technology and capabilities,</li><li>Development and maintenance of a competitor candidate information database,</li><li>Development and initiation of a candidate relationship “pipeline management” strategy,</li><li>Utilization of current and future staffing technology.</li></ul><li>Manages Recruiting budget for region through cost-effective advertisement and third-party recruiters.</li><li>Develops preferred supplier list of third-party recruiters; works with the National Director of staffing to negotiate discounted contract rates for staffing needs.</li><li>Screens, interviews, and tests job applicants as required; maintains applicant database utilizing electronic recruiting software.</li><li>Provides key staffing metrics for regional hiring; tracks regional colleague retention; and consults with regional management regarding issues affecting turnover.</li><li>Trains and mentors hiring managers as well as Colleague Resource Generalists in the use of the electronic recruiting software; builds skill level of regional users by providing training on system updates and new user training.</li><li>Promotes and assists Colleague Resources Managers in training hiring managers in the use of Behavioral Interviewing Techniques, as well as other candidate assessment tools and processes.</li><li>Supports and provides training for the Colleague Resources Generalists in staffing techniques.<br></li></ul><strong>ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS And RESPONSIBILITIES<br><br></strong><ul><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li><li>Travels as required.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong>Education & Licensing: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. PHR or SPHR Certification preferred.<br><br>Experience: Four (4) years of staffing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include three (3) years as a direct recruiter in a high volume, difficult-to-source industry. Insurance industry recruiting experience is preferred. Experience with recruiting software is preferred.<br><br><strong>Skills & Knowledge<br><br></strong><ul><li>Knowledge of employment laws and practices</li><li>Working knowledge of e-recruiting concepts and systems</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills</li><li>PC literate, including Microsoft Office products</li><li>Strong organizational skills</li><li>Excellent negotiation skills</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to work independently</li><li>Ability to work in a team environment</li><li>Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies<br><br></li></ul><strong>WORK ENVIRONMENT<br><br></strong>When applicable and appropriate, consideration will be given to reasonable accommodations.<br><br>Mental: Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem solving, analysis, and discretion; ability to handle work-related stress; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously; and ability to meet deadlines<br><br>Physical: Computer keyboarding, travel as required<br><br>Auditory/Visual: Hearing, vision and talking<br><br>As required by law, Sedgwick provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in jurisdictions requiring pay transparency in job postings. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location.
