Role: Creative Studio Art Director

Reports To: Brand Marketing Director

Contract Type: 6-month Fixed Term Contract, working 7.5 hours per day, 5 days per week

Location: Hybrid, working 3 days a week in our offices based in Old Street, London

About You:

We are looking for a highly organised and creatively driven Creative Studio Art Director to support the development and execution of our e-commerce, BAU, and social lookbook content. Working closely with the Creative Director, Brand Marketing Director, and Senior Creative Studio Manager, you will help bring our brand vision to life through elevated product storytelling and engaging studio-based content, with a core focus on e-commerce.

This role plays an important part in shaping the visual output of our creative studio, supporting the creative direction of shoots while partnering closely with the Senior Creative Studio Manager, who oversees shoot production and delivery. You will bring a strong eye for styling, composition, and storytelling, ensuring all content is visually compelling, brand-aligned, and relevant across digital channels.

You are collaborative, hands-on, and passionate about creating high-quality content in a fast-paced environment.

You'll Be Responsible For

Creative Development & Art Direction

  • Work closely with the Creative Director, Brand Marketing Director, and Senior Creative Studio Manager to execute the brand's visual direction across e-commerce, BAU creative, lookbooks, and social content

  • Develop creative concepts, mood boards, styling references, and shot direction that support launch stories and marketing initiatives

  • Translate creative briefs into clear visual outputs that balance brand storytelling with commercial objectives

  • Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and creative standards

E-commerce Content
  • Support the creative execution of e-commerce photography and video content across all product categories

  • Partner with photographers, videographers, stylists, and HMUAs to maintain consistency and quality across product imagery

  • Contribute ideas to continuously improve the visual presentation of products and customer experience

  • Help ensure product imagery accurately reflects fit, fabrication, and key product details while maintaining a premium brand aesthetic

Lookbooks & Social Content
  • Support with building the art direction of BAU studio shoots and social-first content shoots

  • Collaborate with photographers, videographers, stylists, and social team to produce engaging content across digital channels

  • Assist in developing platform-relevant content ideas for Instagram, TikTok, and emerging social platforms

  • Ensure content remains culturally relevant, audience-focused, and visually distinctive

Shoot Execution
  • Support pre-production through creative planning, styling preparation, mood boards, and visual references

  • Act as on-set art director, styling, talent direction, and creative decision-making during shoots

  • Work closely with the Senior Creative Studio Manager to ensure creative objectives are achieved throughout production

  • Maintain high standards of creative execution while adapting to changing shoot requirements and priorities

Brand Development
  • Uphold and contribute to the evolution of the brand's visual identity across all studio content

  • Stay informed on fashion, design, social, and cultural trends to inspire fresh creative thinking

  • Research competitors and aspirational brands to inform content direction and visual storytelling

  • Bring new ideas and creative opportunities to support seasonal campaigns, product launches, and ongoing content creation

You'll Need To Have:
  • 3-4+ years of experience in an Art Director, Junior Art Director, or Content Creative role within fashion, activewear, lifestyle, or retail brands

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating experience across e-commerce, lookbooks, social content, and studio photography

  • Experience supporting and contributing to photo and video shoots from concept through execution

  • Strong understanding of styling, composition, photography, visual storytelling, and content creation

  • Experience working collaboratively with photographers, stylists, videographers, retouchers, and creative teams

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), Canva, and presentation platforms such as Google Slides or Keynote

  • Understanding of social content formats and platform best practices, including Instagram Reels and TikTok

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Passionate about fashion, fitness, culture, and emerging creative trends
