Female Care Worker (Drivers & Non-Drivers) - 3 Month Sponsorship Track

* Location: You must currently live in, or be willing to immediately relocate to, Stevenage.
* Sponsorship Switchers: We welcome applicants already in the UK seeking to switch sponsors. However, Vinea Care operates a strict Sponsorship Pathway. You will be required to complete a 3-month assessment period on your current Right to Work status before a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) is offered. Sponsorship is based on performance and is not guaranteed on day one.
Job Overview
Vinea Care is a premium Domiciliary Care provider. We do not operate care homes; our Care Assistants travel between our clients' own homes across the Hertfordshire community.You will be making a profound difference in people's lives by providing specialized support, including palliative care, enablement care, and assisting both children and adults.

Working Hours & Rota Requirements
- Contracted Hours: 40 Hours per week.
- Availability Requirements: To fulfil these 40 hours, you must be available to work 6 days a week with one dedicated day off.
- Shift Patterns: Domiciliary care requires early starts and late finishes. You must be available for shift patterns that fall between 06:00 AM and 10:00 PM (22:00).
* Hourly Rate: £13.32 per hour (Standard calls) up to £13.64 per hour (Complex/HCC100 clients).
- Mileage: £0.45 per mile paid for travel between clients.
- Travel Time: Travel and waiting time are included within your hourly pay rate.
- Equipment: Company mobile phone and all required software provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving between clients' homes in Hertfordshire to provide punctual, reliable care.
- Providing dignified personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming) to adults and children.
- Supporting clients receiving palliative and enablement care.
- Administering medication safely and accurately updating digital MAR charts.
- Assisting with mobility and safe moving/handling (using hoists where trained).
- Preparing meals and performing light domestic duties.
- A valid UK Driving Licence and your own reliable vehicle (Mandatory).
- The ability to relocate to Hertfordshire before your first shift (if not already local).
- Exceptional reliability and a strong work ethic.
- A polite, professional, and friendly telephone and in-person manner.
- Previous experience is highly advantageous, but full training is provided for the right candidate.
