Job Overview

Safa British School is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Arabic Instructor to join our dynamic Arabic Department. We are looking for a committed professional who is passionate about supporting students’ learning and development within a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.

The successful candidate will work in close partnership with Arabic teachers in Early Years to support the delivery of high-quality learning experiences, promote students’ wellbeing, and contribute positively to the wider life of the school community.

The Ideal Candidate Will Demonstrate:

  • A recognised qualification in Education and/or Arabic language.

  • A clear understanding of the MoE Framework

  • Experience in supporting phonics and early literacy development.

  • The ability to support the planning and delivery of engaging Arabic lessons across different year groups.

  • Confidence in working with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning and provide targeted support.

  • The ability to support the development of students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in Arabic.

  • A commitment to creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students, including those with additional needs.

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with teachers and colleagues.

  • Good communication skills when interacting with students, staff, and parents.

  • The ability to support classroom organisation, preparation of learning resources, and the creation of an engaging learning environment.

  • The ability to assist in monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers.

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children at all times.

  • Willingness to contribute to school events, extracurricular activities, and the wider school community.
