Insurance Sales Executive

Insurance Sales Executive | High-growth InsurTech firm | Remote | £60-75K + commission (£160K OTE)

We\'re looking for top-tier sales candidates to join our rapidly growing InsurTech firm - we\'re the UK market leader in helping insurers, MGAs, and brokers modernise how they operate and assess complex risks.

Our moat are the bespoke API-driven platforms and intelligent applications that we\'ve developed, and we\'ve doubled our team size in the last 18 months. Our solutions enable organisations to integrate faster, make smarter decisions, and deliver better insurance experiences.

We need brilliant, driven new team members to help us push into new markets and consolidate our hold over existing ones. We\'re looking for candidates with experience selling into underwriting teams or actuaries, or strong experience selling data-heavy products in the financial services space.

The Role:

As an Insurance Sales Executive, you will support our rapid revenue growth by managing day-to-day sales activities, generating new opportunities and helping guide prospects through the sales process. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure deals move smoothly from initial conversation to successful delivery.

This is not a role that relies solely on cold-calling; we\'re looking for a more consultative sales approach that puts people - and our product - first, and you\'ll have significant help with inbound leads from our marketing team.

This role bridges technical product knowledge and commercial sales expertise, helping clients understand how our technology solves real insurance challenges. You will collaborate with sales, product, marketing, and customer success teams to deliver tailored solutions while building strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage new opportunities across insurers, MGAs, brokers and Insurtech organisations.
  • Conduct outreach through networking, industry events, and digital engagement.
  • Support opportunities through the full sales cycle from initial engagement to contract close.
  • Develop proposals, presentations, pricing models, and tender responses.
  • Maintain an accurate and active sales pipeline with clear next steps and forecasting.
  • Build trusted relationships with prospects and customers.
  • Act as a reliable point of contact for client enquiries.
  • Ensure a smooth handover from sales to delivery teams.
  • Understand how our products support underwriting, pricing, policy administration, and distribution.
  • Work closely with pre-sales, product, marketing, and delivery teams.
  • Participate in product demonstrations and customer workshops.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven ability to generate and win new business opportunities.
  • Strong pipeline management and forecasting skills.
  • Ability to build trusted client relationships and communicate business value.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Confidence presenting solutions to customers.
  • Experience working within insurance, Insurtech, or financial services markets.
Salary: GBP 60000 - 75000 per year
