Senior .NET Integration Developer Outside IR35 Contract | Commodities & Shipping Technology | Hybrid Working

We're recruiting for an experienced Senior .NET Integration Developer to join a major technology transformation programme within a global commodities organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the modernisation of a Voyage Management System platform and deliver a suite of critical integrations across trading, finance and operational systems.

You'll be responsible for designing, developing and supporting enterprise-grade integrations, working closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects and delivery teams in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop integrations between a Voyage Management platform and multiple enterprise applications.

  • Build scalable services using C#, .NET, REST APIs, JSON and XML .

  • Develop robust solutions with strong error handling, monitoring, logging and reconciliation capabilities.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand interface requirements, data mappings and integration dependencies.

  • Support the full software development lifecycle from technical design through to deployment and go-live.

  • Participate in code reviews, CI/CD processes and automated testing activities.

  • Produce technical documentation and provide post-deployment support where required.

Required Experience

  • Strong hands-on development experience with C# and .NET .

  • Proven track record delivering enterprise integrations and API-based solutions.

  • Experience working with REST APIs, JSON and XML .

  • Messaging platform experience such as Azure Event Hub, ActiveMQ, Kafka or similar.

  • Understanding of microservices, event-driven architecture and integration patterns .

  • Strong SQL Server skills and database troubleshooting experience.

  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Desirable Experience

  • Exposure to voyage management or maritime technology platforms.

  • Experience within commodity trading, shipping or ETRM environments .

  • Integration experience with SAP, Treasury, Compliance or Market Data systems.

  • Knowledge of Azure cloud services and containerised deployments.
