Dubai British School Jumeira is recruiting exceptional professionals, including English Teachers, to join the Secondary team for the 2027-2028 academic year.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for suitably qualified professionals who are passionately innovative, cognitively agile, and committed to continual professional learning.

The Role

As our secondary school grows into Year 9, we are looking for someone who is invigorated by the challenge of developing and delivering the Key Stage 3 English curriculum alongside our existing English team. An enjoyment of this specific phase of education is vital, but we also want applicants who are excited by the challenge of planning our imminent growth towards the exam cycles up ahead and will be excited to meet candidates with some experience of leadership within an English Department. As we look to diversify our subject offerings, experience in other subsidiary areas such as Media Studies and Film might also be of interest.

The successful candidate will be a skilled classroom practitioner who contributes meaningfully to both student learning and school culture. They will design learning experiences that celebrate student individuality, challenge thinking, and develop essential competencies for success in an ever-changing world.

At DBSJ, we believe great teaching is rooted in empathy, driven by evidence, and powered by community. Our teachers are collaborators, curriculum shapers, and culture builders.
