Warehouse Operatives - Colchester (CO2)

Ongoing Work | PM Shift | Weekly Rota

Siamo Recruitment, an award-winning recruitment company, is working in partnership with Argos to recruit Warehouse Operatives and Order Pickers for a busy warehouse in Colchester.

This is a great opportunity to join an established team, with full training provided and ongoing work available.

Pay Rates

  • Basic rate: £13.23 per hour
  • Night rate: £15.68 per hour for hours worked between midnight and 5:00am

Shift Pattern

  • PM shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
  • You must be flexible to work any 5 days out of 7, including weekends.
  • A rota will be provided by Argos.
  • Breaks are unpaid, depending on the length of your shift.
  • Additional hours may be available where operationally required.

The Role

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:

  • Picking products using a voice headset and following clear instructions.
  • Foot picking and preparing orders for dispatch to stores.
  • Stacking products safely and securely into cages.
  • Handling products of various sizes and weights, including some heavy lifting.
  • Keeping your working area clean and tidy.
  • Following all site health and safety procedures.
